Glad you like it! Hrm. I wonder how the EXIF data was lost... That would show the exposure settings and what not. Anyhow, a tripod is how I did it! To do nice night shots, you first and foremost need a good tripod. Then, just set the camera to manual exposure and play around with shutter and aperture settings. Probably the best advice I could give is to just play around, and check out some tutorials floating around the 'net.
Normally if it's tweaked in photoshop etc the EXIF data can be lost, sometimes I put it back in manually if it's an important shot, maybe you could dig out the original file and look it up and repost the data in the comments box?
